Gram Flour Ladoo

This ladoo is easy to make. Enjoy this with your family and friends

Gram Flour Ladoo


  • Sugar 1 & ½ Cups
  • Water 1/4 Cup
  • Ghee 1 tablespoon
  • Ghee ½ Cup
  • Gram flour sifted 2 & ½ Cups
  • Ghee 1 tablespoon
  • Yellow food color 1/4 teaspoon or as required (optional)
  • Water 2 tablespoons
  • cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Almonds sliced 1 tablespoon
  • Pistachios sliced 1 tablespoon
  • Dried melon seeds chopped 1 tablespoon


  1. In wok, add sugar and water, mix and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes and keep mixing in between.
  2. Add ghee, mix continuously and cook for a minute then move it to a cool surface and keep stirring until cools down. Boora is ready!
  3. In wok, add ghee and let it melt.
  4. Add gram flour, mix continuously and cook on medium low flame for 6-8 minutes or until fragrant.
  5. Add ghee and mix well.
  6. Add yellow food color, mix continuously and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle water, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  8. Move it to a cool surface and mix continuously until cools down to room temperature.
  9. Add cardamom powder, almonds, pistachios, dried melon seeds and mix well.
  10. Now add prepared boora and mix until well combined.
  11. Take a mixture and make laddu of equal sizes (makes 12).
  12. Garnish and serve!
