Kebab Biriyani

Everyone loves kebab. Everyone loves biriyani. everyone loves both. So, add both in one dish and get something noone can’t forget 

Kebab Biriyani

Ingredients: 

  • Yogurt ½ Cup
  • Onion fried ½ Cup
  • Oil ½ Cup
  • Star anise 1 
  • Cloves 5-6
  • Black peppercorns ½ teaspoon
  • Cinnamon sticks 2
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  • Red chili powder 2 teaspoon or to taste
  • Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon 
  • Coriander powder 2 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds roasted & crushed 1 teaspoon
  • Salt 1 teaspoon or to taste
  • Yogurt whisked ½ Cup
  • Fresh coriander chopped ½ Cup
  • Mint leaves chopped ½ Cup
  • Green chilies 3
  • Ready made Seekh kabab 7
  • Lemon juice 2 tablespoons
  • Mint leaves handful 
  • Rice basmati 2 Cups (soaked & boiled)
  • Water 2 tablespoons
  • Yellow food color ½ teaspoon
  • Onion fried handful

Preparation: 

  1. In grinder, add yogurt, fried onion, grind well and set aside.
  2. In a pot, add oil, star anise, cloves, black pepper corns, cinnamon sticks, bay leaves and mix.
  3. Now add grinded yogurt and onion paste and mix well.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and mix well for 2 minutes.
  5. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, corinader powder, cumin seeds, salt and mix well.
  6. Add yogurt, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Add fresh coriander, mint leaves, green chilies and mix well.
  8. Add ready made seekh kabab and mix gently, cover and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  10. Take out seekh kabab in a bowl and set aside.
  11. Add mint leaves and boiled rice.
  12. In water, add yellow food color and mix well.
  13. Now add dissolve yellow food color, fried onion and cooked seekh kababs.
  14. Cover and steam cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
